Sacramento State has been forced to move their Class of 2020 commencement ceremony to Spring 2021, with an online ceremony to take the place this June. This is necessary due to COVID-19, and we understand they are doing all they can. This petition is for the Class of 2020 to still receive a Class of 2020 Commencement Booklet/Program with just our names, and to receive them this Spring rather than wait until 2021.
The University has graduation funds from each graduate, and though they are offering a spring 2021 ceremony many 2020 grads will not attend. These booklets are a great memory piece for students to keep forever. The class of 2020 will not receive a normal or proper recognition this year, so these booklets would be one thing closer to "Normal" and are in the realm of work that is possible for the University to provide in these times.

The class of 2020 really got the short end of the stick. Sending out a booklet is literally the least they can do for us considering we paid for graduation fees and everything else. Just get it done sac state.
