Football supporters up and down the country are sick and tired of having matches ruined by Graham Poll's hijacking of the game in order to massage his ego. Week after week this official ignores the laws of the game purely in order gain another few column inches. Incredibly, anyone within the game who criticises this pompous, arrogant nonentity is likely to find themselves facing a fine or a ban for bringing the game into disrepute - something Poll does on a weekly basis without censure. It's an expensive business watching football and if you're paying £800 a season the least the authorities can do is provide officials who will referee matches according to the laws of the game rather than according to their own, warped agenda. Anything less just shows contempt for the paying public.
