I know I am not the only die hard football fan that notices that when Chris Collinsworth is calling the game from the booth, you know exactly what team he is pulling for and the teams he absolutely does not like. He is not a neutral party to any game he commentates! The most recognizable teams he has no respect for are the Washington Redskins and the Dallas Cowboys, who are rivals themselves, but when Collinsworth is calling the game neither team has a chance at being given any sort of praise when playing well. A commentator's job is to be a neutral party and call the game based on the calibur of play of each team, good or bad, and to recognize when one team is playing well to commend them and give them their "props". It's also about recognizing the miscues and mistakes made by the other team, no matter what your personal feelings are for that team, its coaching staff, or owners. Chris Collinsworth can not do this! I have never seen a game that he has called where I couldn't tell if he was pulling for one team or another. I feel bad for Al Michaels, who is a terrific, legendary commentator and I think he deserves someone better calling the games with him. I am starting this petition to get Collinsworth pulled from NBC, as well as all other stations, as an NFL commentator! I have heard others say they think he's not a neutral party when calling the games so I wanted to find out how many more of you out there felt the same way and wanted to find a way to get the ball rolling and getting Collinsworth off the air! I sent an email to NBC, but after no response then finding out other people agreed with me, I thought this petition might do the trick. So please, for the sake of all the great commentators out there, the 32 NFL teams, and even the teams coaching staff, sign the petition and we can get the ball rolling on Sacking Chris Collinsworth!!
