As students we need to remember our childhood. As SABIS students we really dont do much but go out once a week, and constantly study for O levels, AMS's, PERIODICS, and HW exams. An average grade 10 sabis student has 10-12 exams per week, 2 chemistry exams, 2 periodics, 2 economics exams, 2 physics exams, 1 business exam, a biology exam (extra course), and 2 psychology exams (extra course). This amount of exams lead all of us to exhaustion and fatigue at the end of EACH day, and with the school saying its for 'our' benefit, this is not healthy for any student. This however not only applies to grade 10, but from grades 8-12, at grade 8, they have 7 exams a week, and the number of exams rise each year. Us students, desperately need a break, not a short term break, but a change to reduce exams for all the secondary section of the system. To all choueifat students who agree with this, in which 99% of you most probably would, feel free to sign this petition.
