Please sign this petition to request that the RYC Commodore, Waren Bigon, schedule a special meeting in accordance with Article IV, Section 5 of the RYC by-laws to discuss and review proposed changes to Article VII, Section 3. The proposed by-law change, would include the following replace the the current section referenced above to: Senior Membership shall consist of Members over the age of 65, who have been Regular Members in good standing for at least 25 years and do not own or regulary operate a boat moored, docked or stored on club property, club docks or the mooring field. Such members shall be exempt from further payments of dues and assessments. Senior Members shall retain all the other rights, duties and obligations of Regular Membership, not including voting privileges. It is the obligation of members to submit, in writing, to the Board of Governors, their request to change membership status to Senior Membership.
