In order for this new film adaptation of Death Note to be an actually good film, it needs a good director, authentic cast, and much much more obviously (good script, score, CGI, writers, producers, cinematography, blah blah cinematic features). We now have a great director (in my opinion): Adam Wingard (The Guest was incredible). PLEASE DON'T LET THEM SCREW THIS UP BY CASTING RANDOM TRENDING ACTORS THAT DO NOT FIT THE SOURCE MATERIAL WHATSOEVER.

So now I present to you...Ryan Potter. So go do some research on him, check him out, and you'll see that he's a great fit (race, age, physical features, etc) for Light Yagami.

Maybe if we get a lot of people to e-sign this, someone associating with casting for this film might stumble upon this and think something of it lol.
