Why denial? it appears as though this young man is a promising prospect, and should be allowed to partake!

As a former Naval Officer during the Vietnam era, I heartily support Ryan's request for transfer. Let's have someone step up and be practical. When you have a young man willing and eager to serve his country, how can bureaucracy stand in his path.

As a coach who has coached Ryan and countless others, Ryan is special. Others have commented on his hard work, positive attitude and dedication and I echo those statements. The things that separates Ryan is the impact he has on others. I can't tell you how many times an umpire or another coach has complimented him to me after the game. They aren't talking about his skill on the field but his character and positive atitude. As leaders of young people it's our duty to nurture these natural leaders of the next generation. I understand that you have a hard task in granting transfer request. This isn't a situation that a young person wants to go to the same school as friends or a parent wants a school with a better reputation. This is a situation where a young man wants to pursue his dreams and we would all be better off to allow him the opportunity to do so. I hope that is request is granted to join the NJROTC at Cary High is granted.

Please approve Ryan's request ro attend Cary High School for the only available JROTC program in Wake County! It's unfair to deny him the right to succeed. Please let him soar!!!

Ryan is one of the nicest kids I've ever met and would make a great NJROTC member.

Please grant Ryan's request to enter this excellent program. When a young man already knows his passion at such a young age, the best thing we can do is to nurture that passion in the best possible soil in which to grow. Please allow this transfer so that we can all watch him soar. Thank you for your kind consideration.

Ryan is a fine young man with a good head on his shoulders. As a Navy Vet myself I think he would do the uniform proud.
