Reasonable fee deduction should be applied. The rate of the school fee is based on the totality of what the school offers. The reality is that is not the case today.

There were certainly fee increases each year unless KHDA instructed otherwise. Things are not the same anymore, the school needs to adopt a realistic approach in terms of fees.

It would be fair if we get some of the money back, for the parents who paid full.

Time to be compassionate, practical and understanding rather than asking parents what their situation is and link it to waiver. I am sure teachers do understand the situation of parents and will be accommodating if management is honest about their plan.

I agree that the group has enough financial to help the community during these difficult time. And some honesty is needed to acknowledge that the education provided isn’t at its greatest standards despite the involvement of the teachers. Online education is just not the same as present oak education. So a flat out discount should be given to all parents and a greatest effort should be made to help people in the most difficult position. This is a time of solidarity and compromise and the school should do its part and give up on some financial benefits. All this crisis will change the link and the bound between parents and school forever if not addressed correctly

I am now on an impeding further unpaid leave and suffering from 25% salary cut. With homeschooling, the legwork is done by parents and framework done by the school. Definitely, it is not the same as before where facilities and material resources are given. We are asking for the school to be considerate as this pandemic is a global issue and financial implications should be shared by all.

While we struggle with this situation , fee reduction will be a great relief. When school needs any help , parents come forward. Now is the time when school should put their foot forward and help parents to come out of unlikeliest of situations.

I agree with the points laid out in this petition, I would add that once agreed the reduction in fees is paid back/refunded to the parents/payer.
Please reduce to fees
I fully support the request for reduction of fee.
