A detox center is much needed here. Substance-abuse touches everyone whether it's in your family or not. substance-abuse touches everyone, whether it's in your family or not. I work in healthcare, and see it every day. Accessibility is a huge part of the problem here, but could be a great solution-if a not for profit detox center was available- not a Suboxone clinic.

My sister is an addict & this county is full of drugs that I was never aware of until she was trying to get clean. She had committed herself for therapy to a place in Columbia but has now fallen back from her sobriety. I would love to see this. There is a huge need for it.

Needed yesterday. We owe it to our friends, Families, and neighbors who have and are losing lives. Detox center could only help to improve lives and lower crime rates.

It’s not uncommon for an addict to feel overwhelmed when finally deciding to ask for help when wanting to break an addiction.
It is a life changing decision, and it’s important to know that there are resources available for them when they make the decision to stop using. And at this time there is no help available for those addicted in our county.
Rutherford County needs this and so do the families of those who are struggling with an addictions.
You see, Drug addiction not only destroys the life of the one using, but it also destroys the addicts family too.
*Addictions will robs you of your money, they will robs you of your spirit, and finally when you have nothing else left to give the addiction .... it robs you of your soul.
Lets all join together to help those here in "Small Town Friendly" (Rutherford County) who struggling with addictions-they need our help.
