It is a shame that a qualified doctor can work at Rutgers because of a visa issue. This is not the first time Rutgers has lost quality doctors becuase of visa issues.

This is a petition to reinstate Dr. Alamgir. Rutgers did not provide clear instructions and Dr. Alamgir will likely enrich our institution as she was selected by Rutgers faculty. This is an unacceptable breach of contract.

This is unacceptable and we stand in solidarity with Dr. Alamgir. In a time of xenophobia and extreme nationalism, this reflects poorly on Rutgers and does not align with the the core values of our institution. Reinstate Dr. Alamgir!

Kindly realize and understand that this is a dream that a lot of people hope for. They work continuously regardless of how tiring the journey may be to secure themselves a seat and to get the acceptance. Please reinstate dr. Alamgir!
