We hope to equip the darkroom with enlargers, film developing equipment, print supplies, and other such materials. Our goal is to allow students to develop 35mm or 120 film and produce their own prints to take home and display.

I have been in contact with several university departments to determine the viability of a permanent space for this project. Their initial feedback suggests that demonstrating a clear breadth of student interest is essential for our success. Please continue to discuss this effort with your peers so we can build the strongest possible case for the administration.

do it. i miss the smell of the chemicals.
Film photography is a dying art and we need this space on campus. digital just doesnt capture the same feeling.
PLEASE let this happen. I have rolls of film sitting in my room for months with no way to develop them.
This would be so awesome for the art program. hope they find a room for it soon.
Rutgers needs more creative outlets. everything is just lecture halls and clubs. give us a darkroom!
