We, the undersigned, are tired of trashing recyclables: plastics, glass, metal, and cardboard. We ask the City to create a curbside recycling program in Ruston Louisiana. Replace the two-day trash pickup system with a day for trash and another day for recycling. Recycling drop-off centers have failed in the past, and there are no resources in Northern Louisiana for residents to recycle, especially plastics and glass. A curbside recycling program is convenient and can provide incentives for residents to participate. You would provide a much needed service. Thank you.
