Rugby League: U11's should play for points in QLD 2017

I support my son Lance chilcott who knows what he is talking about he's a coach

Enough changing of our game enough pc bs boys deserve to play for points and have finals what selfworth it gives them what sense of achievement they would get and what purpose the other teams will have that dont make it to semis,to do better to be better otherwise whats the point. When everybody wins nobody wins.

They should play for points ..

Each year Queensland rugby suffers set backs. Queensland children should be able to access the same rules as Sydney. The game will suffer and if the yearly restriction keep expanding they will kill the game

I know my son was very disappointed to find out there will be no points this year especially after he also had to do an extra year of the smaller field for under 9s. The kids all seem to want to play for points ,have finals,test themselves against there divisions and strive to move up in grades

The question has already reduced the playing times for its junior players now it wants to take away the points table as well what a joke

This particular group of kids have been the same group to get the 'new rules' each year. They got all excited for the bigger field, more kids and the big kids rules to be told in u9s nope sorry you have to go back to u8 rules and lose your conversions. U10s they scored the vests, and this year you want them to revert to u10s again when they were all excited to finally (in my son's own words) play real football that counts. If the issue is not enough shared game time, then change the wording to match that of the other groups that play for points.

At 11 years of age, these kids know when they have lost or won. Taking away points won't stop the drop out rate however putting money into schools Rugby League development will!!!

Please. The boys are ready.

The boys play to have fun and also win so when they do win and we give them nothing to recognise that they are not going to keep trying there best to win so we are just going to end up with a generation of underachived who could of ended up making a living from league but instead end up in a dead end job doing what they hate and live a boring life wrapped in bubbles come on peoples do we want that for our kids

Most kids have have looked forward to this day they could play for points, and start playing the sport they love so much in competition like the big boys. Stop changing what does not need to be changed

It is a discrace on our game once again what you are doing too it . But hey you will just blame the coaches for players leaving too play other sports

My boy got to play for points at under 11s and it helps the boys work better as a team. If you won't let them play for points than you need to start grading the boys like soccer.

Points should be allowed so it gives the kids ambition to look at how there team is going and how they can better there individual & team performances..They watch and look at the Nrl games and they look to see how there favourite team is sitting on the ladder with points so why can't they have the same..

Parents are devo!!!! How do ya think boys and girls feel that worked so hard last year to make it what they thought was on gonna be best division they worked so hard for....For what, it to be ripped right out from under them!! I feel for all these boys....shame on u arl!!!!

No need for this change. Competition is a good thing for young boys. Keeping score in their heads starts at 9's so why not let them get recognition for their achievements

Should leave it alone , it worked last season

Totally agree kids at this age are ready to play for points and finals kids also then will play in there respectful grades that is of there level and skill standard
