Hello, we are Eva Gandia and Paula Iglesias. We are secondary school students for Vedruna Sagrat Cor of Tarragona. Our petition is about the bins in the playground, we think that because of a small quantity of bins, the people don’t use them and throw the garbage on the floor and then don’t pick it up.

The problem is that if people don’t pick up the garbage, it'll stays there and then the seagulls eat it or the cleaning staff have to clean it. It’s not really important if there is few rubbish because it’s easy to clean but there are a lot of people in the playground and everyone throws something and it quickly becomes a disaster..

We have thought about how we can solve this issue and we have come to the conclusion that the best option is that when someone is punished for something by the teachers, she/he has to go downstairs to collect all the garbage from the playground.

If the school applies this punishment it will help not only the cleaning staff but also students to get better in class and also not to leave so much rubbish in the playground after the lunch break because then they will have to pick it up.
