Crushing a dream is something you could never repair and would always be responsible for the damage you cause to the potential future of these kids

Some people may not understand this, but music is so much bigger than just sound and lyrics... Music changes people's lives... Music inspires people... Music is a lifestyle. Sometimes music is all most people have to keep them going when life gets tough... So yes, anything to keep this good work going... God bless.

I am a student at RSMEP and I love music and I loved everything I have learned these past years and it sad to sad to know that we don't have a place where we can continue to learn the value of music

Please avail the building for our children

In a day and age where our youth is being lost to drugs, gangsterism and hopelessness, it is tragic to see how government bureaucracy and sentiment is robbing our children of an opportunity to express themselves musically, building each other up and causing anything but harm. Wake up sleepers!

This central venue has given hope to thousands of marginalized young people who are today following successful music careers and have beaten the scourge of poverty.

I started my music journey at this school. It has greatly benefited my upbringing and is a wonderful asset to our community. Please save this school!!!

In a world with so many negative distractions the need to protect positive influences in the lives of children and going adults become vital. Like Shakepeare said "If music be the food of love play on!"

This is shocking to hear. Music training and development is such a great tool to uplift the kids. It is a confidence booster of note. Why does the Department not see the negative impact it will have if the building is no longer available for the music school?

This music school has served the young school going learners of the Cape Town community for many years.The young people have the opportunity to follow a career as professional musician at a minimal cost.

Our children is our future and they need to be trained in a safe environment.

People are the future of the world. To preserve positive influences which shape lives is to invest in a better future and so a better world.

Music Education is very important.

Please don't close this place, it means so much to the kids who attend to learn !
