We the undersigned employees of Round Rock ISD, support a policy to allow privately and home schooled children to enroll in a Round Rock ISD public high school, on a part-time basis, to participate in the Junior Reserve Officers Training Corps (JROTC) classes. These classes provide high school students with fundamentals in leadership, citizenship, and physical fitness and should be available to all Round Rock children.

The district leadership can no longer ignore this groundswell of support for our JROTC program. It is time they stop blocking access to these vital classes and finally give every local student the opportunity to lead.

These kids are local kids too. Let them join JROTC if they want to learn discipline and leadership skills.
Ridiculous that they are kept out of this. My son would benefit so much from the program but we homeschool. Please open it up.

JROTC is a great program that helps build character. Stop gatekeeping it from kids who need it.
