We the undersigned believe that sporting achievement in any field should be valued, regardless of the sport's status. Therefore, although many of us cannot be at the meeting tonight due to the very short notice period, we would like to express our rejection of this motion. No-one should have to feel that their sport isn't a 'proper' sport, nor should they be subjected to communal validation of their sporting achievements. Anyone who achieves the highest level of blue available in their sport deserves commemoration on the college board automatically and without question.
