The citizens of Prince William County petition the Board of Supervisors to
plan,
budget, appropriate, and build an additional boathouse to support an
ever-growing need for rowing facilities supporting scholastic and
community-based programs. It is in the interest of all county citizens to have
equal access to such a facility and be similar to those facilities that have
been provided to other sports activities supporting recreational, scholastic,
and competitive programming throughout the county.
The current rowing facility is incapable of supporting the current requirements or any additional membership organizations.
