Route 85A - Reduction of Speed Limit

Trying to pull out onto 85A is a nightmare lately. Cars are flying way too fast and people are acting like it is a highway instead of a road with houses everywhere.

Too many cars and too much speed. It is dangerous for kids trying to cross the street.

I agree 45mph is too fast for that area.

Agreed. 45 mph is too fast in this increasingly congested residential area.

I live right off of 85A and 45 mph is too fast for this road. I don't feel comfortable going that speed.

Let's avoid serious injury or property damage in advance please. Thank you.

I think it behooves DOT to take a look at this.

I wholeheartedly agree with Mr Hoffman. Please consider the reduction in speed limit.

I concur with this request. As an area becomes more developed and the number of automobiles increase the difficulty in merging with traffic at certain times of the day increases as well as the probability of bodily harm.

Please lower the speed limit. It is hazardous to bikers dog walkers and residents. Thank you.

There also is a few blind spots in that area
