Why is this even a question? Come on now RRISD, catch up to the rest of TX and other States and fund a Natatorium. Our swimmers, divers, waterpolo players deserve this to be competitive with other States/regions! Theres more to TX sports than football afterall. Geez

Round Rock swimmers really needs a competitive pool like this one. Beside the revenue it generates, the pool will get the community to come together.

Round Rock needs a pool. We are one summer league of many and had over 900 swimmers who needed a place to swim. Why do we have to leave our city to do this?

It is true that our area has produced both collegiate and national level swimmers. What many of our talented swimmers lack is Long Course training - which can only be had in a Long Course Pool. All Olympic events are Long Course and this area that is densely packed with swim teams desperately trying to get and keep their water time seriously lack facilities to train at this highest level. Round Rock, as the self-proclaimed Sports Capitol, you are doing yourself an injustice if you fail to approve a facility that has the potential to train champions.

with all the wealth and talent of Central Texas, it's a shame we don't have a single indoor competitive pool for our kids; athletes and their families have to drive to out of town to compete in local invitational meets and spend money there. Go figure....

it's a no brainer - swimming produces more collegiate athletes without any concussions; a pool can be used for numerous competitive events : swimming, diving, water polo, synchronized swimming, plus physical therapy and exercise for ALL ages. How many things can you do with a football stadium?
