Campaign for a Rosyth Bypass
CAMPAIGN FOR A ROSYTH BYPASS It is likely Heavy Goods Vehicles will be banned from the Forth Road Bridge in 2013. HGVs make up around 6% of total bridge traffic each year - that\'s hundreds of thousands of vehicles that could mean chaos for the Rosyth area unless adequate arrangements are put in place to deal with diverted traffic. Failure to build a bypass will impact negatively on local people, local companies and the businesses that operate right across east central Scotland. Join local Labour MSP John Park and Councillor Pat Callaghan, in their campaign calling on the Scottish Executive to take prompt action: identifying the finances necessary for the project and to commit their support to a Rosyth bypass to prevent dangerous congestion in our local communities.
