Hopefully Rory's omission is quickly rectified. Like Tom Dowd, Rory's inclusion in the RRHOF is a necessity that has taken far too long. When current inductees (i.e. Slash) lament his absence it's clear that he belongs.

Rory's a legend who never got the wider recognition he deserved, as a guitarist, a trailblazer for other musicians and for the integrity he maintained to stay the course with his music, his way. An extraordinary
performer and a huge influence to many that are in the Hall! A musician's musician and a wonderful
human being. Rory Gallagher, presente'!

I love this man and his magic hands. Damn. He had mad vocal and musical skills. Been a fan since...er..1971? 2? Long time.He more than payed his dues. The Irish have earned the right to sing the blues. And he has earned the right to be inducted to the Rock 'N' Roll Hall of Fame. He has very loyal fans, and they keep his genius talents alive. We love him.

Rory paid his dues, his legacy will be the inspiration for another young singer songwriter to suddenly appear one day.
Rory gave his all and now how can The Rock N' Roll Hall of Fame justify it's existence without the name, the one and only; Rory Gallagher.

Rory was one of the all time greats and should be in the Rock N' Roll Hall of Fame. I actually got to see him play live in NY back in the day, Flannel shirt and all - Have many of his CDs. I am a drummer and have his picture up in my studio where my band practices

I have never seen a better guitar player. Rory was and is respected on both sides of the Atlantic. He is the epitomy of a rock hall of famer regardless of what they say in Cleveland.

Having seen RORY in concert 8 to 10 times he never failed to dazzle me with his virtuosity, energy and the sheer joy of playing to the crowd.Sharing his Celtic heritage I loved how he dipped into his roots on stage and on album. Over forty years ago a local band here in GR,"Tanglewood" covered RORY's music brilliantly...but NO ONE can replace "THE THIN MAN". RORY deserves the recognition that even his peers feel he is due. Please induct this wonderful musician into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.

Come on guys, Rory is a fantastic guitar player. In my humble opinion, at least one of the top 25 all time best guitar players. Thanks for your consideration.
