I think, Rory Gallagher is as unique in the british Bluesrock culture as Johnny Winter is in the american. They have a very similar approach to music, and they have a similar kind of virtuosity. And in fact, Jimi Hendrix considered Rory Gallagher as the best Blues guitarist in London, not himself.
