The best guitar player influenced hundreds of blues/rock players worldwide. And acknowledged by them and other greats.. About time this humble gentle genius was acknowledged by Rhof and shame not done before now.

Yes I saw Rory Gallegher open for Rush and he was one fantastic. Made a lasting impression on me ,I loved that show with 2 pretty much completely different acts. The R&R Hof got it right when they inducted Rush but Rory Gallegher deserves the honor ,He was a great song writer/performer and second to none as a Blues/R & R guitarist.

Songs like Crest of a Wave are immortal.

The greatest guitar player I have ever heard, generosity, amazing tone, great feeling, ... we really miss Rory but his music is still alive even in the young generation

Such an amazing talent! He could do it all - phenomenal guitarist, singer, and song writer. Almost 20 years later and he is still missed terribly. It's time to give him the credit he so deserved.
