If anyone defines passion for music, it is Rory Gallagher. All you have to do is look at the guitar he played to audiences all over the world. He loved it almost to death performing the music he loved, the blues. And his legion of fans love him. He let his music speak for him. A quiet humble man that played the guitar like a lion. He deserves a place in the Hall.

i can't imagine how he would not be in the Rock and Roll hall of fame... There are many bands In there that had to follow him on stage, and dreaded it... He was an amazing Musician and deserves to be there... He never sold out.

I discovered Rory Gallagher too late, would have loved to see him "live". Great guitarist, love his voice, and his passion for performing.

'Rory Rocks Belfast' was a welcome headline in the 70's when we were used to bombs rocking the city. Rory"s annual Christmas shows in Belfast are the stuff of legend.

Even though this RnRHoF is not important in musical terms, the principle remains as it always has, RORY should be in it, and should have been years ago!!..it's to easy to forget the legacy Rory left behind in Music....out of site out of mind, all votes count.
