Doug Suggs and Lisa Soule vote no to such a large increase due to more work being done on the reservoir that was just rebuilt, lot #071

I vote against the increase to $300 per lot. This does not seem reasonable for empty lots. Lot #0997

This is a ridiculous increase on a vacant rural lot. If there needs to be improvements or some other financial obligation covered then a graduated scale of increase based upon lot size, upgrades/buildings, full time resident, and direct impact from increase should be assessed.

Don't use the private lake, trailer storage, picnic/bathroom area ever, and trash one time per month, when it is operational, use the firepit several times in the summer, maintain our own road, county roads kept up by the county, taxes cover that. This is a mountain retreat not in the city of Denver. This raise in dues is way out of line. We have owned our property/cabin for 35 years. Seems like we have had a "good old boy" system going on. Never had problems until the last 6 or 8 years. We are all equal in this. Lets get reasonable,

I can understand a 20 percent increase but not an almost 100 percent increase.

Lor #859. We would be open to the alternative figures presented by a group of RORA members. The current proposed budget is not fiscally responsible or equitable for the current members and their expected contributions. There has to be a better way to do this incrementally over time. We don't use the trash or recycling services, but are fine paying into that service. The proposed increase in storage fees is exorbitant and usury. Didn't the board already pay $50k for repairs to the ranch house? What came of that expenditure? There are too many loose ends to move forward with the current proposal. We urge the board to table this into the new year, create a budge working group with additional members to A) find an alternative, and B) demonstrate willingness to rebuild trust and provide transparency into the process.
