I was just sitting at Roosevelt's thinking about how quiet the district would be without them and honestly it feels like the city is totally missing the point about what makes a neighborhood actually work. People keep sending me messages about their own favorite memories there which is honestly keeping me going while I try to figure out who in the city council is even taking calls this week.

I was just looking at the notifications piling up and honestly my jaw is on the floor because it is wild to see everyone backing our local spot like this. The momentum feels so heavy now and it just reminds me how much this place actually matters to the heart of the city.

Roosevelt's is the heart of downtown. Why are they trying to ruin the only good spot in McAllen?? Leave them alone.
Keep Roosevelt's open. They do so much for the community and local music. We need more spots like this not less.

McAllen needs this arts district to grow. If you shut down the places supporting it then nothing will ever change here.
Love this place. Food is great and they always help out with local events. Stop the harassment.
