Room 2 kids should stay!!

The artistic kids should stay it's not fair!!!

Everyone benefits from this group of kids being at Del Mar School. Please let them stay,

So very important that our children, all of them, feel a part of their community, rather than separated and less as human beings.

This is a very important program, not only for autistic children, but also for the other children in the school who learn more about their world by seeing autism.

Not only do the kids in room 2 benefit from the exposure with the typical education students, room 2 also provides students who maybe struggle with the social part of middle school by giving them a place to go during lunch, when maybe they don't feel like they have anywhere else to go. As a Del Mar alumni, I often found myself in a position where I didn't have friends to sit with during lunch, so I would help in room 2, where everyone was accepting and valued my presence. It is hard as someone who struggles socially, and I don't think I would be standing here today without the opportunity I had volunteering in room 2. Their presence on the Del Mar campus is much more than anyone can ever imagine. It is a lifesaver for many.

Even though these kids have been here 7 years overdue, they need to stay! They need to interact with other kids and stay happy, maybe if they move to the empty office building they won't have fun and that's really important.

Stop discrimination against intellectual challenges!

I am a psychologist with a specialty in program development for kids with ASD in schools. After 30 years of experience I finally learned what these kids already know: inclusion benefits typical as well as atypical kids. Even typical kids will not learn social skills in an office building. thanks for your wisdom

Please keep a classroom available for these special needs kids at their existing school.

I hope room 2 is still there when I go to Del Mar so I can volunteer.

These autism kids r real people too. Why can they have the same education as other kids?

Inclusion is critical for ALL children.

I help these students at school and they need to stay! Why should anybody have the right to kick them out?!?
