All time great guitarist - inspired so many people to enjoy and play music and guitar especially. Also a fantastic arranger who made many songs superb, such as Lou Reed and John Cougar.

I saw Mr ronson playing the local scene in east Yorkshire with the rats, with Trevor boulder, and woody woodmansey[ from my hometown driffield] later on a bigger stage at Bridlington spa as members of the spiders from mars, great memories and thanks all for that,,,,,Rob.

Please enter Ronno into the Hall Of Fame - even Lou Reed was awestruck by his abilities! And Bob Dylan. Ex-Byrd Roger McGuinn and so on...

Ronson is a legend, who's contribution to the music industry is second to no one. The guy helped to launch the soundscapes for many epic artists in various musical genres and for this reason alone he should be entered into the Hall of Fame. Just think of the artists/bands for a while- David Bowie, Bob Dylan, Van Morrison, Morrisey, John Mellencamp, Rick Wakeman, Elton John, Mott the Hoople, Ian Hunter, Lou Reed, Annette Peacock, Ellen Fowley, if this is not musical excellence what is the criteria ? If his credentials are not credible then why bother with the category. Just think of the people Mick has influenced-Johhny Marr, Randy Rhodes, Echo and the Bunnymen, Duran Durans Nick Rhodes, Gary Kemp, Mick Jones (Clash), possibly Steve Jones (The Pistols), Boy George. Think of all the musicians who including myself saw 'Starman' on Top of the Pops and it changed their life. We could just go on and on with these lists.

Truly I can hardly believe Mick has NOT yet been inducted. Besides his work with Bowie and Mott the Hoople he was a skilled arranger, producer, writer and of course, a brilliant guitarist. Enough already, get this man inducted!

Ronson was both a showman and a massively underrated composer. From Bowie to ex-Byrds Man Roger McGuinn, Ronno always gave his very best. Ronno for the HOF in 2014!

The synopsis sums up Mick Ronsons musical career , however his impact as as Brian Eno has said,a la Huxley; Mick definitely opened up new musical doors of perception.
There is also his journey from working class groundsman to L'Enfant Terrible on guitar of what is termed "Glam Rock."
A real proper player, arranger intelligent human being and cultural icon, his memory in the psyche of many musicians illustrates his influence .
His election to the Hall Of Fame should be beyond doubt or reproach.
I mean who else may end up in there the lads from Coldplay, come on.
Ronson is a must.
