A flood of childhood memories just came back!! What a great idea to name this playground after a man who was part of my childhood! Still to this day when ever I go "home" I pass his house and remember my fond memories of that sweet gentle soul!

Ronnie was the nicest guy. He pushed me and my friends on the swings for hours and hours all summer long. He always carried his little black radio and had an incredible smile!

We still talk about Ronnie today... It was an amazing experience to have been pushed on the swings by him, or to share conversations over our walkie talkies with him!

This is a wonderful idea. Ronnie is a wonderful man. His life story is one that they make "feel good" Disney movies about. This should be a no brainer!!!!

I grew up on Parsons Drive and saw Ronnie almost everyday when I was growing up. ("Tanner family"). He was so kind and just like everyone's big brother. This is a great tribute!

I remember Ronnie walking in our neighborhood with a hugh radio on his shoulder dancing and singing to the tunes. Always friendly to us kids.
