Ron Lewis has been my close friend and singing partner since the early 60’s. No one is more deserving than him. Just go to utube and listen to that amazing voice. Please consider him for the Hall of Fame, he deserves it.

Many of you are missing that he fronted one of the biggest show bands in New Englad called Lewis and Clark. They were Mason/Dixon and the Line's biggest competiton. I can very proudly say I got to perform next to this RI legend for a combined six years as Reminisce's very first oldies sax player. Every night I worked with Ronnie and the Silver Lake boys I was awed by their harmonies and love of the oldies music. I would imagine David and Roy met him at Heaven's gate and their already working up a new act.
The Lord will bless him for all the happiness he brought to so many people.

I heard a lot about Ron Louis through the years but never heard him sing or see one of his performances till I actually met him 6 years ago and we became friends both being lovers of music and myself being a singer. When I went to visit him for the first time he showed me some footage of some of his performances and I was completely stunned at what I heard and his professionalism as a Singer and showman. this includes the whole group. I firmly believe if Ron had the backing of a top notch songwriter He and the band would have gone straight to the top of the music industry. I still to this day have visits with him at his home and he gives me A history lesson of who’s who in the doo wop scene since it’s inception way back in the day. I kiddingly try to test him with a song but he not only knows the song he will tell you what year it came out, who sang it and who wrote the song and probably where he was when it came out,! I believe Ron more than qualifies to be inducted into the Music Hall Of Fame in R.I.

Ron is the best oldies singer in thhe state. I have been fortunate to have known Ron for around 25 years. Not only a terrific singer but one hell of a good guy.
