The "Roman Bridge" in Blackpill, Swansea is a Grade 2 listed bridge and is piece of history. The Council in Swansea have allowed it to become so overgrown with weeds that the structural integrity is now threatened. The Council currently have no plan in place for the urgent work needed to preserve the bridge. We, the undersigned, believe that Swansea Council (as the owners) of the "Roman Bridge" should restore the bridge urgently, before it is too late.

Ridiculous that they just let it rot away. Its a part of our local history and the council should be ashamed of themselves.

Its a total mess down there. The weeds are destroying the stonework and nobody seems to care about the repairs.

Such a shame to see heritage ignored. Do your job council and clear the weeds away.
