Rocky point was a place where families went and enjoyed it . I have done research on this place that everyone loved so much an I've noticed that it went bankrupt and closed by 1996. Later on it was known that the warwick government had bought it for 8.5 million dollar. Sadly, so much money was spent but nothing was done with the place . Rocky Point went from an amusement park to and abandoned area with a bike path that was created which i have noticed no one really goes to . Maybe if it was re-opnened and encouraged rocky point could be successful this time . It wont only bring happiness to them who lived in RI for life and been in rocky point but it will attract new people , families , kids will wanna always go . Rocky point would be perfect for summer days when families travel and come to RI to visit . It could be something so good to do since we dont have much in RI to have fun about .
