ROCKY COLAVITO: Baseball Hall Of Fame Petition: MAKE AND CORRECT HISTORY

The Rock belongs in the HOF!

Don't knock the Rock !!!

Few remember how Rocky’s final lifetime stats compared to Kiner, Hodges among others. All these players numbers have been dwarfed by modern day players but I believe it’s important to remember these players for what they accomplished in their own time period!

Past time to get this man in

Heck yes, Rocky Colavito should definitely be in the MLB Hall of Fame!

My Dad and my uncle (both Southern Middle Tennesseans) who were Indians fans from the days of the powerful nighttime AM radio stations. In my nearly 50 year baseball fandom, I heard Colavito mentioned in almost equal terms as Mays, Aaron, Clemente, Williams, and Musial….the Baseball Gods of the 50’s and 60’s. They were not casual fans. Smart, tough play, demeanor, and productivity were the milestones they judged a player by, and Rocky checked all those boxes.

The HOF should be ashamed of itself. ROCKY should have been in while he was living. He didn’t get to enjoy it. It’s for him not his fans. HOF can shove it where the sun don’t shine.

Get Rocky into the HoF now!

He should be in the Hall. Rare combination of offense (outstanding power, few strikeouts) and great defense. One of the strongest arms in history.

Absolutely

Ricky was a great player. He could hit home runs but he had an arm that was like shooting bullets out of a rifle. He could have been a relief pitcher but they didn’t have them back then not like today. He was also just a great person from what 8 have heard. I bought his book Don’t Knock three Rock. I see have it.

So true…it amazes me that Rocky was not inducted into the HOF years ago…

Deserves it, he meant a lot to the baseball community, especially to Cleveland and Detroit!

Get it done and get him in the HOF! Don't allow him to become another case of a highly-deserving individual neglectfully overlooked!

It’s tough to be subjective and accurate all at the same time, but when you look at what he achieved in the first 10 years of his career, it’s astonishing. As a ball player and has a representative of the game, there is nothing finer than this kind, caring great ball player, Rocky Colavito.

Lock it in Rocky you’re phenomenal player

I am very surprised and disappointed to learn that he is NOT already in the HOF. He certainly deserves to be inducted.

Rocky for the HOF

One of my favorites of all time.

Colavito is long overdue for induction into the MLB HOF.
