Rocky was my idol growing up. Though I was very young when he played for the Tigers I followed him wherever he played. He deserves to be in the Hall of Fame on his numbers alone.

Rocky was old school baseball player hitting for average and power with one of the best arms defending the outfield and limiting runners to single bases. Modest and generous to fans donating his time to promote the game without looking for publicly or acknowledgment.
