I was blessed to see Rocky play on tv when I was growing up. I’m 75 now and miss players like Rocky.

Rocky was a tremendous player and he is greatly deserving of being in Tge Baseball Hall of Fame.

Don't forget he has 1 MLB pitching victory. In 1968 against the Detroit Tigers.

Open and shut case with the stats, but don't forget he was a gentleman, who personified integrity and respected the fans to his dying day.

Its unfair Rocky has been so neglected, he was a great player.

He was a huge part of my childhood, and a big connection with my dad.

One of my cousins in Taylor, MI was one of Rocky Colavito's neighbors [when MLB superstars lived in regular neighborhoods in normal houses]. My cousin took me to Rocky's house; I rang the doorbell, and Rocky came to the door. Although the Tigers were in town and playing later that day, Rocky greeted us with a big smile, treated me with respect and kindness [I'm 76 now but was only 11 at the time.], and gladly signed the only ballglove I owned. [Rocky personified the addage: A person's character can be defined by how they treat those who can't help them.]

Grew up in Toledo. Remember him well in Cleveland and later Detroit He was an elite player

Rocky is also credited with a win as a pitcher. It occurred in 1968 in relief again the Detroit Tigers, who went on to win the World Series. that year.
