Once he was traded to the Tigers for Harvey Kuenn, he was Detroit's backbone in the late 60s. Don't knock the Rock! He deserves to be in Cooperstowm!

Rocky Colavito has been a legitimate candidate for Cooperstown since he retired. He’s been overlooked for way too long. Vote him in!

for almost a decade, Rocky Colavito was synonymous with All-Star outfield play an outstanding right fielder of fear, slugger, and a perennial All-Star had he played his entire career in New York. He’d be an icon and show fire Hall of Famer. when you mentioned mantle and maze, when I was growing up, you also had to include Rocky Colavito as one of the great players of his era. It is truly a shame that he is still on the outside, looking in instead of on the inside, looking out and even if he does make the Hall of Fame someday which doesn’t seem likely, it will have to be posthumously

Rocky is my all time favorite player and definitely belongs in the Hall of Fame, I can’t believe it hasn’t happened by now…

He was the LeBron James of the 60’s for Cleveland.. I was devastated when he got traded.

I believe Rocky deserves strong consideration for the Baseball Hall of Fame. I’m sure if this feared slugger had played for the Yankees (instead of Cleveland and Detroit) in the 1950s/ 60s, he would have been inducted into the Hall of Fame decades ago!

I met Rocky twice, first time at an All Star game in 1964. I called Mr. Colovito , as I was taught manners, but he signed autographs and was very kind. When I said thanks Mr. Colovito, he turned and said “You can call me Rocky!” I’ll never forget it.

It's the Hall of FAME. Rocky's the most famous baseball player in Cleveland's history. Why there's not a statue of him at the stadium is a mystery to me (I know they put one up in Little Italy but there should be one at the stadium.
