In the 65 I went to see the lndians play the Yankees at Yankee Stadium. I emediately became an Indians fan because of Rocky Colavito! I was watching him in the pre game warm up, and watched him throw from right field to second base, to third base and to home plate! He threw in the air to 2nd, and one hopped to 3rd and home, perfect throw to every base! I loved watching him play! I think that day he also hit a Home run! #21 Rocky Colavito, I am proud to say I have many autographs from him!!! He even wrote to me when I had written him and asked him questions about baseball. I am also proud to have a psa 9 rookie card of him!!! He should be in Baseballs HALL OF FAME, FOR SURE

One of the players I took notice of down in Texas in the days when the Yankees were about only team on television. Colavito always played well against them.

I was born in 1948. Mickey was my hero forever. Rocky was a stud and a great talent. He was always right up there with the best in the league and his career is certainly HOF worthy. His best 10 years prove he was no “flash in the pan”- he was a HR slugger, RBI machine, and always dangerous. Yankee fans feared him and he was one of only a few who earned that accolade.
