He excelled at everything but running. Had the strongest throwing arm: nobody ran on him.

As a Yankee fan, he broke my heart many times with his skill, constant effort and gentlemenly demeanor. Hee could, run, hit and field with the best of his era. He greatly deserves the HOF recognition.

Learned to keep score listening to Indians and Tiger games on the radio. The "Rock" was my guy!

Rocky was my friend! I knew him personally, and was honored to be a member of the Colavito Statue Committee. The character of this man was beyond belief! He was kind, caring, respectful, and considerate of every single fan he met. He remains, forever, my #1 sports hero. I miss him dearly. Please pay him a lasting tribute and enshrine him in the Hall of Fame. Thank you for your consideration.

In my 75 years I have seen a lot of them play. There are many great ones, including "the Rock". Please give him your most serious consideration.
