ROCKY COLAVITO: Baseball Hall Of Fame Petition: MAKE AND CORRECT HISTORY

I cannot think of a more deserving player from the classic era to be enshrined in the MLB HOF.

I saw him play & he really could play, I saw him throw the baseball from deep center field & throw out the player tagging up third base

And let's not forget, as a Yankee he pitched two scoreless innings against Detroit in 1968 and was the winning pitcher. I remember watching this game on TV! I grew up a Tiger fan.

Rocky deserving while quite a few have been inducted that achieved significantly less than Colavito.

Rocky and his family deserve this!!

Looking at Colavito's stats over the 10-year period, it's a travesty that he's not in the HOF!

The author claims incorrectly that Colavito started his career in 1956. When it's pointed out that -- as the author knows -- Colavito started his career in 1955, the author flies into a rage and throws out accusations of lying. Bottom line: Colavito might deserve in the Hall of Fame, maybe he doesn't. Either way, this author's efforts to promote him for Cooperstown can't be trusted. Period. He's KNOWINGLY lying.

I believe the Hall of Fame is for the Fans, thus our GENUINE FAN FAVORITE -- ROCKY needs to be in Cooperstown for us fans!

He also had a great arm and was a superior right fielder.
