I just moved to Rockwall and a single dad. I skate and would love to have park to ride thats close. I was bummed to find out Harry Myers took the park away as I live right down the street.

I think it's a shame. I just moved here a few months ago and my eldest is 16, and he loves to ride on his skateboard. It helps him vent or relieve any stress he has had, whether at school or at his job. You're right though, the closest park we've gone to is at Wylie skate park and it hardly has anything. I hope people start speaking up again about this issue. Maybe it will eventually fall into the right hands or the right ears will listen. God bless

As a mother of a local 14 year old I would love to have a safe, central location to skate. Having a skatepark would allow parents to better keep track of their teens whereabouts and who they're hanging out with.

Very true, we shouldn't have to drive out of our city to find a place to skate. Hopefully the city of rockwall will make accommodations since they removed the other skate parks. The lot at harry Myers is still there. Nothing was done to it. Was it really necessary to remove?

It doesn't have to be any special kind of skate park just something for us to go to and skate with friends, I have to drive to Wylie if I wanna go to a skatepark

I use to ride harrys meyers all the time after after baseball practice in the 4th grade. Rockwall needs a park so that kids can have a place to ride and hangout like i did 10 years ago. PLEASE build a new park
