I HAVE BEEN TALKING TO THE LOCAL OFFICIALS AND THE EXCITEMENT FOR THIS THEATER IS ABSOLUTELY REAL!! WE ARE PUSHING HARD TO BRING MOVIES BACK TO ROCKFORD AND GET THOSE JOBS CREATED FAST!! STAY READY BECAUSE WE ARE JUST GETTING STARTED!!

THIS MOMENTUM IS ABSOLUTELY ELECTRIC!! ROCKFORD IS SHOWING UP IN A MASSIVE WAY AND I AM BEYOND EXCITED TO SEE THE SUNSET DRIVE IN THEATER BECOME A REALITY FOR OUR COMMUNITY!!

I would actually like to find out how to purchase this drive-in theater and start it up again. I will only show regular movies. Never any porn. I wish to create a family friendly atmosphere with classic cartoons and film trailers during intermission. I thinking of creating a way to show movies through the winter as well. It would be nice to show holiday films in the winter. I have alot of ideas for family fun. Please feel free to contact me about anything pertaining to opening this drive-in theater. I think this would be a great idea to reopen this drive-in theater. For families and friends alike.
Used to go here all the time as a kid. Rockford really needs something like this again instead of just another boring mall store.
so many memories here. hope you keep it family friendly like you said. no trashy movies for my grandkids please.
YES PLEASE. we need a good place to take the kids on summer nights. keep it clean and family oriented and we will be there every weekend.
i live right down the road and would love to see this running again. its a total eyesore just sitting there empty. get it going!

I worked at the sunset Drive-In and it was a wonderful time in my life and I would love to see it reopened this would be great opportunity for this city and for the people citizens of Rockford to have a new outdoor drive-in theater this is a great idea please sign the petition let's make this happen
