The town of GFW is proposing a new 9 dwelling development directly behind the schools. This will not only infringe upon the trail but ruin approximately 75% of it.

This is a concerning issue both safety wise and spiritual. It’s important for the community to come together to protect the Nature Trail behind Forest Park Primary, Sprucewood Academy and Kids kingdom Daycare. The trail provides valuable outdoor learning opportunities for students and staff, and it would be a shame to see it ruined by a new development.

It's important to voice your concerns to the town and advocate for the preservation of the trail. There may be alternative locations for the development that would not impact the trail and the schools.
