Legal doesn't make it morally acceptable and I believe that Commissioner Robinson has good morals but poor judgment in this instance.

As attorneys, you evidence why the Public holds us in such disdain. Your prejudice in the Fox Fire Rezoning spokes volumes. Bill Merrill, Argus, and you should be ashamed.

Why is it that potential ethical conflicts of interest (possibly illegal) dominate the eletist of the republican hierarchy? It seems, most of the time, that they consider themselves exempt from ethics and morals.

When will county commissioners come around to seeing that they have an obligation to voters to represent them, not a business lobby.. They already have apparerently been bought by Benderson. If Robinson goes to work for Argus, won't other commissioners go on Benderson's payroll?

I strongly agree that a county commissioner should not be the executive director of the Argus Foundation simultaneously.

It is the appear of impropriety that is as bad as actually committing an impropriety.

At a minimum, the perception of a conflict of interest is unacceptable on its face. Ms Robinson must give up one of her responsibilities.

Although Ms. Robinson is a very capable person and has been a good county commissioner for Sarasota County, I do not believe she should hold both positions at the same time as there is if not an actual, a perceived conflict of interest.

There are not enough hours in the day for Ms. Robinson to work both jobs effectively, let alone avoid being unduly influenced. The Argus Foundation lobbies Sarasota County Commisioners....Ms. Robinson is a Sarasota County Commisioner. Clearly a conflict of interest. As was the gushing fondness Ms. Robinson exhibited for the gun club when she gave away tax payer owned public land for a clay shooting range that will NOT be enjoyed by a majority of Sarasota citizens.
