In the practice of law, even the appearance of a conflict of interest is to be sufficient reason to avoid confict. This appearance is palpable!

This is a blatent conflict of interest. We have had enough corruption in county gov't. lately. An elected official must avoid even the APPEARANCE of impropriety.

Sarasota was once known for proper planning, high standards and good government. Of late, it has become yet another home of poor judgement, shortsightedness and down right thievery. Commissioners Robinson's new job is but the latest, and perhaps most poinient example.

This is a blatant conflict of interest and flies in the face of all that is ethical. It is also an insult to the people of Sarasota County, and she needs to resign both positions.

I believe someone should bring this up before the Bar Association. Even the appearance of this sort of thing reflects faulty ethical standards

A conflict of interest is quite an understatement. Thank you for taking action against such a blatant abuse of power and betrayal of the public trust by an elected official.

Even the Bible says "you cannot serve 2 masters" - it's time to choose just WHO you will represent. The interests of the developers and the interests of the citizens of Sarasota County are NOT the same.
