We the people of the state of Illinois, County of Knox, do hereby petition the city of Galesburg, for a womens sober living community.

We would like the support of the cities officials in making a home, for women and children, that would provide

• Shelter

• Safety

• Educational Classes such as:

1. Basic life skills

2. Job seeking skills

3. Interviewing

4. How to write resumes

5. Budgeting/ Financing

6. Parenting

7. Basic Home Repairs

8. Gardening

We also provide womens group meetings and counseling sessions. Our focus would be to help women in our state improve their lives by providing them with education and hands on training.
