Dr. Robert L. Savoy is the godfather of fMRI education in neuroimaging and specifically fMRI, as he has been organizing and teaching his week-long fMRI course as well as a myriad of other neuroimaging and multi-modal courses continuously every few months for the past 24 years! The impact that he has had on the field – on the minds of so many neuroimagers - cannot be understated. He was among the very first instructors in fMRI and is still teaching today. A large fraction of the leaders in the field have attended his course – receiving their first in-depth instruction on fMRI and neuroimaging there.
