I would be more than happy to commit to 3 season tickets, however it would have to depend on the league. As long as it is not the Federal Hockey League. The SPHL would be the best option to join an established league and if it comes to a new league, Richmond, Winston Salem, Asheville, Huntington, Wheeling(if they leave ECHL) and Johnstown would be a good start. For hockey to survive in Roanoke there has to be a decent number of close teams withing driving distance for road trips and to create rivalries. Joining a league like the Federal would only hurt the chances of hockey surviving in Roanoke.

The City of Roanoke has been too long without Ice Hockey! Its time to bring back our team and release our former Rebel, Express, Viper fans, come out of your hibernation and show your support to bring back the only real sports franchise that ever meant anything to the valley!
