The landowner should at minimum have a say where the pipeline and road are going to go on their land. Running said pipeline and or road in between their homes should have never been an option.

This land should be left alone. It is just as easy to put the water lines behind their property. Heritage and history should count for something.

Land grabbing is right up there with horse thievery and should be punishable by hanging. No one has the rights to a homestead that old except the heirs !

The City must uphold their 2004 agreement to run any roads BEHIND the Luscombe family farm - not through it. Anna may be a small country town, but concerned citizens from all over Texas and beyond will join the fight against Eminent Domain there.

Seems like the property owners aren't saying "no" to the road or water line, had previously reached agreement with the responsible governing bodies defining a solution agreeable to all parties, and now those authorities are circumventing that agreement. I'm siding with the property owners. The City of Anna should stick with the original plan, which found balance between property owner rights and progress. The developer needs to work within that framework, and should not be allowed to significantly disrupt the property owners way of life.

City of Anna needs to find elsewhere to place the water line easement..do more research and come up with a better plan that everyone can agree on.
