They are called public lands for a reason..these so called preciouse plants have survived decades of public land use and will continue to. Time for elected officials to actually start serving the public and not their or special interest groups agendas.

Govenor, take a look at the communities in Utah that survive on OHV income that would also help the communities of Colorado. Keep the trails open to OHVs.

The BLM needs to consider all beneficial uses of public land. There are already plenty of non-motorized areas in the western slope for people looking for that type of use.

So is this the first step as to sell off the United States land to pay our debt to China or are we just going to have the Chinese just move in to their land that the US put up for colateral?

This is not about management of public lands for the benefit of the environment and society. It is about controlling access to public land and catering to special interests. The BLM has neglected to fulfill its duty to impartially study the facts and verify that the information they are using has scientific basis and logical origin in making land use decisions. The BLM continues to ignore the information that has been provided to them by COHVCO on the true economic impact of motorized use in Colorado. This is one among many issues that we must correct.
